Facility Plans

We have an ambitious 4 phase plan to re-develop a dilapidated existing play area, build a Multi Use Games Area with a cover to enable the community to use it in all weather, build a new Skate Park and a Community Centre including access to computers.

Below shows our draft outline plans for the MUGA, Skate Park and Community Centre and when we have more plans for the Play Area we wilil share those with you.

Play Area Re-Development

Below shows the old play area that we have just finished re-developing with the help of a grant from Playbuilder.  We have added through your public consultations a zip wire, rotating basket swing, climbing nets, excellent climbing tractor with tube slide and lots more! 

We have also had a volunteer day with volunteers helping with gardening, fence painting, painting on the concrete with hopscotch and other games and general tidying up.  It was a very successful day.

The park is now completed to our satisfaction and we are concentrating and fundraising on the skate park (as shown on the proposed plan on the top of this page)
