Mundesley Youth and Community

Volunteers

Mundesley Youth and Community have a fantastic team of motivated people who help fundraise, promote, organise events and oversee the progress of the whole development.

Our steering group has an excellent range of people and organisations including Young People, Residents, Businesses, Parish Councillors, Police, Education, Norfolk Council for Voluntary Youth Service, Norfolk Rural Community Council and North Norfolk District Council.

However as the photo shows there are also a huge number of people who Volunteer their time to support our fundraising events.

"It been great to be involved in this project learning new skills, taking on new things that I have never done before but mainly I can see things happening which will help me, my friends and family in the future".

Wendy Fredericks (Parent, Business, Beanie Club Organiser) - Fundraiser

"I joined the group with bags of enthusiasm and lots of new ideas and together we have organised highly successful events, written an amazing book about our Marvellous Mundesley and cant wait for future events to raise the funds we need".

Tony Callaghan (PCSO) - Volunteer

As the Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) for Mundesley I believe that it is vitally important to be involved in what the village is striving to achieve for not only the Youths of Mundesley but the community as a whole. The Project Team had a Vision that is now being realised and I thoroughly enjoy being part of the team offering all the help I can. This is what my role is all about strengthening that vital link between the Police and the local communities.
